I guess that having a two-year old journal update here makes me look pretty dead, so I suppose I'll out another one up now.

First of all, it's unlikely that I'll be putting any art/writing up for the immediate. I have a few sketches and pictures that can go up (mainly Biology or Geology related I'm afraid, but hey, it's my speciality) but I need to wait until I have scanner access (well, not the photos, but they're all of facebook anyway).

As for writing, I'm still working on Duma Tyr; got up to chapter 11 done, and am currently going through final edits on them before continuing on to completely re-write chapter 12. None (or mostly none; maybe a little) of that will appear on here, as I want finalised bits to be kept very hush-hush.

I do enjoy looking at everyone else's artwork, though. So do please keep posting yourselves.

Other than that... I'm going to be graduating in July with a 2:2, and then trying to find a house in Bristol so that I can do my masters. Which will sadly decrease my writing time even further. Gotta find a damn job for the summer now.

Well, I've started working on Duma Tyr properly again. This is problem, as I should be revising exams. I'll be using it as my 'to do during breaks' activity.

Essentially, I'm going back and editing the eight chapters I have done, fixing a few pacing errors and altering one or two characters. Then I am inserting one extra chapter at the very start.

Essentially, the whole thing is getting slightly bleaker, darker, more mediaeval. I think I like the change, I must say.

I am also trying to draw proper maps. Nothing good in the slightest, but I still find it an interesting exercise. I might put one or two things up if I get hold of a scanner. Far more likely you'll see one or two excerpts of writing once I get them to my satisfaction.

So, once all the editing is done, I can get back onto writing the story proper.

Oh, and revising of course. And finishing of QBIV... I'd forgotten about that...

I am still here. At Birmingham University. Just... no scanner, and no writing done as of late. So nothing to upload. ^^

Not dead yet, just so you know. Er... yesh, definitely still twitching.

Anyway, I'm writing at the moment. No drawings. ^_^ A picture, though, and it's not of me, or me related in any way, really. ^_^
